Website Manager Milanuncios.com in Madrid

Schibsted is actively searching for a Website Manager for one of its operations in Spain.

The position is a key role inside the organization with responsibility on the largest generalist site of the company in Spain, MilAnuncios, and also as a part of the Management team of the company.

As website manager you will have, among your responsibilities:

- Defining, together with your colleagues, strategy for the other verticals such as RE, Motor or jobs

- Supporting your managers on coordination and prioritization of projects

- Coordinating marketing activities with the brand and performance marketing managers

- Shaping the daily relationship with internal and external stakeholders

- Defining and developing budget and forecasts, both in qualitative and revenue metrics, with responsibility over the P&L

MilAnuncios is the leading classified site in Spain with over 3M visits per day and ~100k ads published, with strong traffic and content in the RE and motor areas of the site, oriented to a wide spectrum of users that look for a simple and easy to understand experience. The main challenges are developing a solid platform adapted to the new user behaviors observed in the Spanish market without losing the soul that has made the site one of the most successful portals in the country.

Schibsted Spain works as a matrix organization, where the business units represent the verticals (RE, motor, jobs and miscellaneous), and cross service areas the horizontals (Sales, IT, OD, finance and strategy).

MilAnuncios represents a large share of the total traffic volume in the market, and contributing through the provided leads and visibility to the overall revenue generation of the entire organization. Coordination with sales and the RE and motor verticals are key to the overall success of the organization.

To perform this task, you will need to balance the product developments that contribute to a great user experience in the portals you will manage, with the internal needs for finding and developing synergies with the other verticals and the sales organization.

It will be required from you to be able to work in a matrix environment, with different stakeholders with whom you will need to align in many cases for decision making and coordination

Solid product experience at different levels will be required to work with the product managers in the different organizations and help aligning them. You will work, together with the product manager, on defining the strategy of the operation and prioritizing needs.

As site manager, you will have to be business oriented and will be accountable for the P&L and required to look after the improvement of the revenue generation, and the effectiveness ratios that help our sales teams perform better.

We are looking for a senior profile with experience managing agile teams and good understanding of both product and development processes.
