We are seeking a:
SIP expert with proven experience on developing and deploying highly
available and scalable VoIP solutions with capacity to implement new
standard specifications and, ideally, contribute to IPR and to make them
part of new standards release. Experience in Push-to-Talk, Mission
Critical PTT and/or 3GPP IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) architectures are
a plus.

Your functions will include the following responsibilities:
- Design and implement High Available & Scalable VoIP / SIP / PTT architectures
- Ability to interpret relevant IETF and SIP specifications and develop technology guidelines, architectures and blueprints.
- Contribute in a principal role to the adoption of 3GPP MCPTT standards
- Lead the maintenance of legacy Nokia PTT server.
Required experience and skills:
- SIP and RTP/RTCP protocols and architectures.
- DNS SRV, Service Discovery.
- Knowledge on Stateful and Stateless Load Balancing architectures at different layers.
- Kamailio/OpenSER configuration and deployment in high availability,
fault tolerant and highly scalable set-ups, including DB redundancy
- Design and development in C/C++/Java
- Writing of specifications and Acceptance Tests, sometimes for external teams
- Familiar with 3GPP specs including Stage 1, Architecture and detailed
Signalling Flows in areas such as Rx (DIAMETER), MCPTT (SIP, RTP, XCAP)
IMS (x-CSCF, HSS, iFC...) and/or AAA/Security architecture (IPSec, TLS,
IMS AKA, ...).
- Knowledge of Linux, Linux distributions and Linux usage in highly scalable and redundant architectures.
- Knowledge on scalable, redundant, performing DB architectures
- Used to working in teams, with full responsibility for engaged tasks
and taking ownership, coordinating with internal and external teams and
managing through to a satisfactory end.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Nice-to-have experience and skills:
- Real experience in Functional Programming: Erlang/OTP or Scala+Akka in combination with SIP stacks
- Contributing to company IPR and patent portfolio
- Knowledge on Nokia PoC 2.5 platform (e.g.: architecture, development, O&M, ...)
- Knowledge of client architectures such as Android, iOS, Windows
