Software Quality Automation Engineer in London

• Design and execute automation test plans on Java and JavaScript based web applications
• Test coverage for multiple software applications running on various platforms using multiple operating systems and various web browsers
• Provide thorough analysis of possible testing integrations and suggest testing suite that matches Wayin’s needs
• Develop reusable, scalable and maintainable automation tests
• Perform application security audits
• Work in an two week sprint agile environment on enterprise web applications
• Manage project roadmap with daily QA, Scrum and customer support meetings
• Accurately pinpoint bugs within code and participate in weekly code reviews with engineering team
• Work with all key business relationships within the company to assist client engineering and foster client loyalty
• Individually develop all automation test plans and participate in future production strategy discussions
• QA contributions include performing functional, integration, compatibility installation, regression and performance testing

• 4+ years of knowledge and experience in QA
• 3+ years of knowledge and experience in web automation
• 2+ years of knowledge and experience in JavaScript
• Experience with Shell scripting within the past two years
• Ability to test all platforms as well as all browsers and their mobile equivalents
• Familiarity with Mac, Linux and Windows platform
• Experience writing/following test plans and test cases
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

• Knowledge and experience with Python
• Experience writing and debugging tests in CasperJS/PhantomJS and/or Selenium or other headless browsers
• Experience writing and debugging tests in Groovy
