We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to help us develop an industry changing real-time bacteria detection systems designed to prevent illnesses
-Design mechanical parts from concept to production.
-To automate manual biological process including Microfluidics and filration systems.
-Prototyping/ testing /manufacturing of mechanical devices and MFCs.
-Operate bench top testing equipment and be able to use computer-assisted engineering design software to perform daily engineering tasks.
-Write and present technical reports.
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering and substantial training/experience in engineering design.
-Knowledge of optical systems and relevant theory
-Excellent mechanical design skills in CAD (Fusion/SolidWorks)
-Experience in Prototyping / experimental testing / manufacturing of mechanical components
-Experience with microfluidic processes
-Have the drive and enthusiasm to work within an agile and international start-up environment.
-Previous work/interest in biomedical engineering and diagnostics; bioinstrumentation; biomaterials; biomechanics; mechatronics; robotics
-The capacity to combine a high degree of technical knowledge with creativity to turn designs into products
-Eye for detail and streamlining / efficiency.
-Good English - communication and written skills.
