Job Description

Purpose of role:

This role is part of a small dedicated team focused on developing our propriety technology platform OMNEX

 

Role details:

 

  • Be responsible for design, development and production of high quality, maintainable code
  • Solve challenging technical problems
  • Work in a team using the Scrum agile methodology ensuring that your team meet your sprint commitments
  • Continuous improvement of the tools and processes used by the team
  • Documentation of practice, processes and software

 

Person Specification

 

To be successful in this role you would have experience in the analysis, design and modification of J2EE architectures and web services.

 

You will be comfortable communicating in English.

 

You would have experience of the most or all of the following technologies:

 

·         Docker

·         EJB 3

·         Java 1.8

·         JPA

·         Struts 2

·         JSP

·         (D) HTML

·         AJAX

·         JQuery

·         SQL

·         Git / Bitbucket

·         IBM Rational Application Developer

·         IBM WebSphere

·         IBM DB2
