Our
Barcelona Product team is looking for a Technical Product Owner/Tech
Specialist that will act as a hybrid of Technical Support as well as an
expert on APIs and Integrations.
TECHNICAL PRODUCT OWNER - Tech Support, API & Integrations:
As
the Technical Product Owner, your mission will be to provide expertise
and support to the Customer Success team while working alongside the
Sales and Partner teams to optimize and streamline onboarding and
integrations. A major part of your role will be to build out, deliver,
and execute the Hostaway API & Integrations Roadmap.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the technical subject-matter-expert for the Hostaway
Platform, Hostaway API and Partner Integrations, responsible for sharing
your knowledge of the end-to-end API lifecycle
Interact with the Dashboard and Channel Manager Product Owner,
Product Managers, Engineering teams (Devs, DevOps and QAs), Clients, and
3rd Party Vendors
Monitor the Tech Support backlog and provide first line analysis and response to reported issues
Create Sprint User Stories, prioritize, and execute on the Hostaway API, Partner Integration roadmap and Tech Support issues
Engages and interact with clients and partners/vendors during
feedback sessions, support sessions, demos and requirements gathering
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, and Sales/Onboarding Specialists, Clients and Vendors to offer expertise and support.
Build and track performance metrics and make enhancements to existing metrics and reports
Monitor industry trends to inform product strategy
Your background/experience:
In your previous roles, you held a key position in engaging and
interacting with clients, partners and vendors using exceptional
communication skills and product knowledge
Liaising with key business stakeholders
As a Product Owner you have worked with Agile Scrum methodologies
You have experience with software development and backend technology
Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs
Writing technical stories
3+5 years experience (minimum of 2 years experience as a Technical Product Owner)
Background in e-commerce, travel or short-term vacation rental, travel-tech
You are a highly visual and detail-oriented person with a meticulous eye and a critical thought process
You have high EQ and exceptional soft skills, alongside your technical expertise
Able to explain and elaborate on complex technical issues and solutions to non-technical members and teams
Skills:
Required
Experience with cloud-based technologies/SaaS products
BS/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or Engineering or related experience
Customer-facing experience in enterprise projects
Experience working with Agile Scrum methodologies
3-4 years+ experience as a Product Owner
Prior experience as a software developer with RESTful or Soap APIs
PO Certification (bonus)
