We are TRIK (Technical Reports for Inspection Kestrels), an
award-winning drone software start-up funded by the UK government. We
were on the Financial Times, BBC, Huffington Post, etc. We have been
working with drone operator and engineering companies throughout the UK.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about computer vision and drones to join our fast growing team.
What do we do?
TRIK is revolutionizing the structure inspection industry by
establishing a new standard of keeping records in a 3D and digital
format. We turn thousands of drone images into an interactive 3D model.
Users can search for relevant images, annotate and measure distance or
area directly from the 3D model.
Your responsibility:
Working on 3D mapping algorithm – optimize the software to run
faster (modify from existing open source library and compare with our
internal algorithm)
Integrate with DJI SDK – use live feed from drone camera for SLAM
and generate flight path for drone to map 3D structure autonomously
Requirements:
C/C++/C#
Studied Computer Vision (or have experience in SFM or SLAM)
Love computer vision and drone/robotic
Quick learner
Experienced with one or more of the list below:
DJI SDK, ROS, Parallel Computing, Computer Vision library; eg.
OpenCV, OpenDroneMap, OpenMVG, OpenMVS, OpenSFM, VSFM, SLAM, Eigen, PCL,
CUDA
