The business we’re in is ever changing, and you’ll need to be flexible and be able to deal with
ever changing business demands. You’ll work in a scrum team, trying to build a stable platform
for the company.
You don’t see problems, you see challenges that need to be solved. The demands might
sometimes require you to work hours outside normal office hours, but in order to solve the
challenges this is not a problem for you. You take pride in your work and try to deliver what is
requested neatly and in the agreed upon time.
Because this is a young company you’ll be asked to help others, both within IT as well as other
departments. The main language within IT is English, the rest of the company also speaks
Spanish, so it is a plus if you speak Spanish, but not a requirement.
The company wants to grow more towards a data driven setup, with data being fed from a new
business intelligence platform. This means that the backend and back office will have to be built
sustainably and consistently. This is where you come in, taking control of the existing
infrastructure and applying it with an eye to the future.
- Team player
- Open, outgoing, able to work in a hectic, ever changing, environment
- Flexible but you don’t give up easily
- Willing to help others, both within the team and within the rest of the company
- No 9-5 mentality
- Takes pride in their work
- Speaks moderate English, Spanish preferred but not required
What do we offer
A challenging environment, in which you have a lot of room to express your development skills.
This young team is the perfect place for you to have a big impact on the (technical) future of this
company. There is a relaxed but energetic work atmosphere. After work there is always time for
a cold beer amongst colleagues.
We are looking for someone who can take the lead in the development
of our platforms. Based in Barcelona, Ubeo is an app for shopping that
offers a different way of acquiring products, services, and experiences.
Ubeo provides its customers with the thrill of bidding and winning
auctions from €1. Since its inception in 2013, the start-up has raised 5
million euros of investment, and its latest round of financing allowed
entry to the Dutch venture fund CNBB. Currently, the team consists of 25
people from different countries and has begun its expansion to European
markets such as Italy, Portugal, and Germany.
