We are now looking for two Product Owners to join our Engage team in Product department. One will be focus on Metasearch Integrations and the second on Promotions and Marketing tools. Both roles will be based in Barcelona, Spain and will report to the Engage Product Director.
The main responsibilities for the Metasearch Product Owner will be:
- Help develop a longer-term product strategy for our Metasearch Integrations and Content Distribution APIS.
- Lead the full lifecycle product management of our Partner Distribution API (from concept development to tactical execution).
- Monitor daily project facts and figures in order to understand the product performance.
- Work closely with the Marketing team and other company functions
(Air Suppliers, Content, Revenue and IT) to align their initiatives
and business goals with the Metasearch Product development.
- Prioritize the product backlog.
- Ensure product objectives are fulfilled. Ie: deliverables meet requirements and business expectations.
- Remain updated on all changes taking place in the Metasearch
environment– including major announcements, new tools and strategies,
etc.
- Survey the marketplace for ways to improve our solutions for our
partners. Evaluate how to put into practice successful techniques where
they exist.
The main responsibilities for the Promotions and Marketing Tools Product Owner will be:
- Help develop a longer-term product strategy for our Promotions and Marketing tools.
- Define and lead the full lifecycle product management of our new Marketing promotions and tools capabilities.
- Monitor daily project facts and figures in order to understand the product performance.
- Work closely with the Marketing team and other company functions to
align their initiatives and business goals with the Marketing promotions
and tools Product development.
- Prioritize the product backlog.
- Ensure product objectives are fulfilled. Ie: deliverables meet requirements and business expectations.
- Remain updated on all changes taking place in the Technical
Marketing environment– including major announcements, new tools and
strategies, etc.
- Survey the marketplace for ways to improve our internal solutions.
Evaluate how to put into practice successful techniques where they
exist.
Required skills and experience for both:
- A university degree.
- 4-5 years Product Owner experience in the eCommerce industry;
- 3-4 experience in Marketing (as a Product Owner or Marketing Manager);
- Strong leadership skills and the willingness to “own” a product and its related projects;
- A deep understanding of source code (HTML, CSS), API integrations and complex architectural environments;
- Extraordinary analytical skills (Power user of Google Analytics);
- Ability to work in cross functional teams;
- Ability to work in an energising environment;
- Problem solver and can do attitude;
- Loves challenges;
- Results driven;
- Proficient English required (More than 2 languages will be a plus);
- Experience in international environments.
