We’re looking to hire a Marketing Manager to help manage all aspects
of our go-to-market strategy. The objective for the role is to help
drive demand generation, increase brand awareness and grow revenues for
the company. The Marketing Manager will work directly with the founders
of the business in a fun and fast-paced environment. As an early-stage
startup, we offer lots of room for creativity & initiative and
defining your own role. We are seeking an ambitious growth hacker who
gets a kick out of building and pioneering new things. If you need a lot
of guidance and structure, this role probably is not for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help define the overall marketing strategy for the company
Smartly leverage and balance various outreach and communication
channels to best engage our target audiences (website, social media,
SEO/SEM, events, webinars, etc.)
Define and execute impactful marketing initiatives to drive demand
generation (i.e. build top-of-pipeline funnel) and increase brand
awareness with
Create own ideas for engaging thought leadership content and topics (blogs, white papers, studies, etc.)
Monitor competitive environment and adjust value prop and messaging accordingly
Work directly with agencies and freelancers to execute marketing programs as needed
Manage junior marketing team members
Track and measure results of all marketing initiatives (traffic,
open/click rates, ROI, etc.) and manage activities to overall marketing
budget
REQUIREMENTS
Educated to degree level in a related discipline
2-5 years of work experience in marketing, communications or business development
Demonstrated track record in defining and executing marketing
initiatives in a fast-paced environment (ideally in B2B, Tech, Internet
space)
Ability to program manage marketing projects to tight timelines and budget
Provide hands-on mentorship to junior team members to teach and support them in learning new skills
Good blend of creative ideas & vision and reliable technical
execution (i.e. not just pie-in-the-sky dreamer but also get-things-done
doer)
Excellent communicator – articulate, convincing, concise
Strong English language skills (both written and spoken)
Right to work in Ireland/EU
Just as important as functional/technical skills are attitude and mind set:
Self-starter “roll-up-your-sleeves” attitude
Part-Time Role: Anywhere from 40-80%. Flexible arrangements possible (e.g. either 2-4 days or certain hours of the day)
