you a proactive, detail-oriented and dedicated localisation
professional in search of a new role as part of a multilingual in-house
team?
As part of our
Localisation Team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts,
managing all aspects and stages of localisation projects as well as
developing the accounts and building strong relationships with internal
clients. You will work closely with internal as well as external
localisation specialists, and act as a point of contact towards internal
stakeholders. Located in our European headquarters in Barcelona, you
will be part of a multicultural team of localisation experts
contributing to high-standard localisation services.
The ideal candidate
enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, is a strong team
player and communicator who is very proactive, enthusiastic, good at
problem-solving and comfortable working with global teams, and can
remain calm and deliver results under pressure.
Your role will involve:
- Manage localisation projects, such as
translation requests and QA. Receive and deliver assignments, plan
workload, negotiate deadlines, assign work to internal and external
team.
- Manage client relationships and serve
as primary day-to-day contact for internal clients, setting and
managing expectations and acting as a strategic partner.
- Communicate project requirements to
translators, pro-actively keep clients up-to-date on project progress
and notify about potential risks or delays.
- Drive high quality output from teams, and ensure that quality, budget and deadlines are met.
- Identify and resolve issues and questions in a timely and effective manner for clients and translators.
- Optimise all stages of translation
projects, proactively identifying areas of improvements, streamlining
projects and improving workflows.
- Pro-actively educate clients, translators and vendors on processes and best practices, and maintain documentation and guides.
In return, you will bring:
- 3+ years relevant work experience in project/account management
- Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal), native level of Dutch or another European language is a plus
- BA or equivalent degree in Translation/Localisation, and a sound understanding of localisation processes and workflows
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience in working with CAT tools and Translation Management Systems
- Able to work autonomously, in a team and at a cross-functional level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Highly proactive and solution-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive “can do” attitude
- Organised,
with strong time management skills and able to independently handle a
variety of projects at the same time and work well under pressure
- Eager to learn and develop, and willing to embrace change
