What we do
We build a bleeding-edge predictive
marketing platform on top of open-source technologies such as React,
Play/Scala, Spark, elasticsearch, Docker, python, numpy, scikit-learn...
Our software stack is natively designed for cloud and deployed on AWS
and other cloud providers. We focus on using all those ecosystems for
what they do best. We ingest petabytes of data, and run
dozens of powerful and carefully designed Machine Learning algorithms to
bring value to our customers. It relies on an industrialized, automated
and highly configurable platform, using advanced visualizations to help
its operation.
As we believe methodology excellence helps
to build a better product for our clients in a sustainable way, we
currently work using agile methods, kanban boards, and recurrent
internal tech events to share knowledge.
What you will do
Embedded in the Data Science Tools team: You will help us build the platform that runs and operates all the ML algorithms in production You
will work hand in hand with data-scientists, ML engineers, data-ops to
improve our platform and deliver rich insights from the data we
manipulate
You will play with some of the sexiest piece of
technologies available (react, d3, play/scala, machine learning...), and
help going even one step further You will participate in our initiatives of knowledge sharing and continuous quality improvement.
You will be at the heart of a fast-paced, forward-thinking company building word-class technology
Who are you You are currently a full-stack & dataviz software engineer or wish to become one. These assertions should not frighten you :
You have practical knowledge, experience or strong
interest in building a solid, beautiful, useful and easily refactorable
front end applications.
Since our product and tools use browser side
technologies, you should have knowledge in the corresponding idioms.
You like manipulating data, and find a way to
visualize it in a meaningful way for the users, even when you have to
deal with abstract matrices and mathematical metrics.
You have practical knowledge, experience or strong
interest in manipulating data structures, algorithms, and backends to
build data-centric applications while being easily refactorable, easily
deployable, monitorable and resilient
You work easily with agile concepts (user stories, sprints) and best practices (peer review, pair programming…)
You have a passion for shipping
quality/tested/performant code : all around testing, TDD, continuous
integration, continuous deployment, devops…
You have great communication skills and fit well within a team
You have no fear to challenge benevolently others' work or to be challenged on your own
