We are looking for a City Manager to lead a field operations
team working to launch and manage our electric sharing scooter fleet in
Berlin, Germany. You will play a pivotal role in running the operation,
infrastructure and local team. We’re looking for leaders with a knack
for problem solving and an ability to thrive in ambiguity to be
responsible for fleet health and driving performance in the city. You
will be an essential part of building new processes and playbooks
alongside managing process implementation and efficiency. You will lead a
team responsible for ensuring our fleet is charged, maintained &
redistributed, as well as on field safety work and user support,
marketing oversee and local authorities interaction. The ideal candidate
has previously led teams, is highly operational and a self starter.
Must be local or with a valid working visa.
The City Manager is responsible for running the operations,
infrastructure and local team, while acting as the interface with HQ, as
well as focusing on growing revenue and customer base rapidly,
including logistics, maintenance, customer service and engaging with
local authorities to develop relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead a team ranging from 10 to 20 employees.
Promote measures to prevent and mitigate accidents at the maintenance facility
and with customers.
Coordinate staff schedule.
Analyze data to identify trends and performance improvement opportunities.
Manage daily logistics routes and vendors.
Ensure a smooth and robust maintenance operation.
Respond to customer service complaints.
Ensure our fleet is charged, maintained & redistributed.
Decide on preferred location hotspots to deploy and maximize fleet utilisation.
Troubleshoot, and fix potential scooter issues, or raise issues when necessary.
Analyze
data, customer service complaints, and supply/demand into efficient
routes and dispatch actions to be performed by field specialists.
Communicate and present operations KPIs management.
Communicate and interact with local authorities when needed.
Oversee marketing initiatives and impact on the business to improve utilisation/customer acquisitions
Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree.
5+ years of operations management experience.
Excellent people skills to lead, inspire and guide the team.
Multi-tasking skills - Switching hats during daily operations.
Analytical mindset, understanding user behaviour, and collected data.
Able to work nights and weekends
