Catchoom is an award-winning, VC-funded spin-off of Telefónica
Digital that creates and sells high-performance image recognition and
augmented reality tracking technologies with clients all over the world.
We are looking for a talented, highly motivated
software engineer with experience in Android and iOS app development.
The successful candidate will be part of our in-house mobile development
team, developing creative and innovative apps for client projects and
for demonstrational purposes, with a special focus on the retail,
ecommerce & consumer goods sector.
Your challenge is
to take the most out of our Augmented Reality and Image Recognition
capabilities in these apps, and at the same time, contribute to the
improvement of our SDKs.
You will work in a multidisciplinary group, helping to bring the our research team’s latest advancements to the market.
Responsibilities
Design and develop native Android and iOS mobile apps powered by our SDKs.
Deploy and maintain Apps in the Google Play store and the App Store.
Technical account management.
Contribute to the improvements of our Augmented Reality SDK and Image Recognition SDKs and their documentation.
Collaborate
with our research team on integrating our next generation object
recognition and tracking tools into our SDKs, including building
groundbreaking prototypes showcasing their capabilities.
Required Education and ExperiencePortfolio of Android and iOS mobile apps, ideally with a well-executed UX & UI.
Experience in the full development cycle of mobile applications: design, development, deployment and maintenance.
Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
Other Valuable Experience
Use of agile methodologies, and experience working in small teams.
Unity app development experience.
Basic verbal and written Spanish skills.
Experience
and/or at least interest in building useful and enjoyable mobile
applications to facilitate shopping experiences (retail, ecommerce,
products, stores etc.).
Person Profile
Self-motivated, committed to your projects, diligent and detail-oriented.
With ability to meet deadlines.
Conditions
- Work permit: EU work permit required.
- Start: Immediately.

- Working hours: 8 hours/day (flexible work schedule).
