We are Adaptive Financial Consulting; we are well established in London and have now opened an office in Barcelona. We work in partnership with our financial clients to build bespoke, transformative software that pushes the limits of possibility.
As a Web Applications Developer, you will participate in the team effort to build and release quality software in a timely manner. You will use your knowledge to build a great user interface, working in close collaboration with user experience and marketing consultants, as well as server-side developers. You will work in a test-driven, Agile development fashion. You will remain up to date with the latest developments in technology and quickly adapt to them to achieve better results. This is a client-facing role, so excellent communication skills are essential.
Required skills and experience:
- Solid, professional web development experience
- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript: you understand prototypical inheritance, scope, and closures
- Proficiency in user experience technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, and Ember.js
- Experience integrating with systems written in Java
- Armed with a strong desire to raise the bar for your team technically, you are tenacious, curious, and collaborative in all aspects of your work
- A quick learner with excellent communication skills
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Language: English (fluent)

- Experience working with distributed teams
