What You'll Do

Contribute and shape functional and technical challenges in the area defined as Acquire & Grow. Within the area, this particular team is responsible for the search service powering our commerce solutions. As well as providing lightning-fast page content, it also ensures that our customers' shoppers can find exactly the items that they are looking for via relevance scoring, faceting, and filtering. Search is at the heart of our commerce operations and one of the most critical parts of the application.

 

Beyond this specialized area, our team also belongs to the Acquire & Grow department, which focuses on and contributes to other domain areas in NetSuite, such as customer engagement, order fulfillment, e-commerce and others.

 

You will be building new APIs, setting up new data models, coding new business logic as well delivering a bespoke user experience via the latest UI technologies. In our teams believe that quality is a shared responsibility, so, you'll be also analyzing the team features and developing the test automation that allows us to deliver smoothly. In short, you will work closely with other development teams, product management and the rest of engineering to define and implement a new product offering while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing system.

Collaboration across international locations is going to be a key part of this role.

Your qualifications & skills

  • B.S or Master's in computer engineering or relevant experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • Strong interest or experience on Design Patterns and SOLID principles
  • Knowledge or interest in any of Java, Javascript or TypeScript.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements
  • Flexibility to work with geographically distributed teams
  • Work permit for Spain is required for this role
