Job Description
- You consider yourself a pro-scripter or you’re used to work with scripts (Powershell or Bash)
- You have participated also in the automation of CI/CD pipelines
- You are used to read Jira tickets and understand requirements
- You also ensure that the code of your scripts are of high quality, fully unit-tested, following the best code practices
- You are used to coordinate with the L3 support team when issues are escalated to the dev team
- You’re a team player but also you know how to work autonomously
- Agile methodologies are part of you and your mindset
- You have worked with IT departments and understand the automation needs of an incident and problem management (Optional)
- You also understand which data, IT departments across the world, need to better support their end-users and write the corresponding automation scripts (Optional)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Software Development: work by coding good practices, write secure and quality code, understand the performance impact of your code, apply debugging and logging techniques, be great at constructive code review, used to Agile methodologies
- Good Knowledge of PowerShell 2.0 and 5.0 or Bash scripting language
- Mid-level English spoken and written
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile
- 1+ year of IT experience is a plus (either with Windows or macOS devices) and its internals, as Windows APIs, Event Log, Jamf, etc
