The Role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to work in an innovative team that is dedicated to our “Accounting and Publishing Partnerships” vertical.

The ideal Software Engineer with have a solid development background in engineering with an inclination towards good development practices complemented with knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of software solutions for supporting our “Accounting and Publishing Partnerships” department

  • Conduct peer code reviews to maintain code quality

  • Explore innovative technologies, tools/patterns

  • Work with Project Managers and Tech Leads to ensure functional requirements are fully understood and implemented

  • Actively use the provided issue & project-tracking software

Key Requirements:

  • Solid experience of working in a similar role with .NET

  • Knowledge of the latest front-end web technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular or VueJs

  • Knowledge of “clean-code” best practices, SOLID principles, and software design patterns

  • Experience with any relational (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, CosmosDB, Elastic Search) database engines

  • Familiarity with Azure or equivalent (AWS, GCP)

  • Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience in working using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Kafka/Kafka Connect/ksqlDB

  • Experience with building distributed systems and working with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ or similar)

  • Experience in Event-Driven Architecture
