ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a Lead Fullstack Developer, you will play an important role in developing features that will be used in many projects which have very high trafficked sites. This team develops tools that power and support our Vendor Experience products in order to allow our customers to achieve their goals. You will work with a team of talented engineers, while also working closely with product managers and designers to develop or enhance features.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Product teams to create robust technical solutions.
  • Create scalable, highly available software architectures that solve complex technical problems
  • Develop UI components.
  • Write automated integration and unit tests for UI components.
  • Write documentation for UI components.
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and assist in defining the technical roadmap.
  • Ensure high standards of accessibility, performance, and code quality are met.
  • Promote best practices around software design, testing and architecture.
  • Be positive, optimistic, and engage in an everyday better team.

 

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR FRONTEND CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 6-8 years of experience working as a full stack developer
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and web standards, as well as a back-end language such as NodeJS or PHP
  • 2-4 years of experience developing components using React.
  • 2-4 years of experience creating performant APIs to expose complex data to front-end applications safely and securely
  • Experience with modular CSS technologies/methodologies such as BEM, CSS Modules, SASS or CSS-in-JS.
  • Experience and proficiency with common frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, Sass, PostCSS.
  • Experience writing tests using Jest, Cypress and/or Testing Library.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins.
  • Expertise with Git and version control tools.
  • Experience with internalization and localization.
  • Experience authoring libraries.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Experience with Storybook, Next.js, and Typescript is a plus.
