Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior Web Frontend Engineer to join our Playgami team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis!

What You’ll Do
Translate wireframe designs into best-in-class web interfaces, supporting the player experience in the Playgami Console
Work closely with feature owners, the Playgami Product Design (UX/UI) team, and other development teams to implement new features for our users and stakeholders
Participate in Technical Design Documents and code reviews to collaborate and share feedback with other team members
Write automated, high-quality tests and work with your team and the Product Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that works smoothly
Define and encourage the use of best practices for front-end engineering throughout all development phases
Help build a strong engineering team and culture
Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter, share knowledge and help colleagues both inside and outside of your team
Team up with skilled colleagues who are committed to delivering the best products possible
What We’re Looking For
Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with
Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, design patterns, algorithms)
High-quality and maintainable code writing.
Deep experience in frontend engineering and UI development, with a meaningful focus on the React ecosystem
Strong understanding of web applications architecture and patterns, considering the distributed nature of such products
Experience addressing cross-browser compatibility concerns
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a high-functioning team environment
