Requirements
Key Accountability and Responsibilities.
- Reporting to the QA Manager.
- Designing, implementing and maintaining the QA test strategy and processes.
- Evaluate, test, automate software, and verify that code functions according to user requirements and conforms to established guidelines.
- Ensuring all applications are test covered, automated and qualified for production environments.
- Design, develop, maintain and extend the automation testing for Packlink products.
- Be aware of and understand the impact to QA of any new technologies being introduced.
Key Skills, Knowledge, Experience And Competencies
- This job is not for everyone. You’re:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Being able to analyze the “big picture” of a complex system.
- Root cause analysis experience.
- Communicating with technical and non‐technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Full understanding of requirements and functional specifications.
- Working with release procedures, test methodologies and software defect tracking tools. We use JIRA.
- Understanding of server side and client side applications
- Knowledge of at least one programming language: Ruby, PHP, Python, Java, others.
- Restful API testing.
- UI Test Automation for user acceptance tests. We use Selenium, Page Objects, Ruby and others.
- Cucumber-Gherkin (BDD) style for tests specifications.
- Basic database knowledge (MySql preferred).
- Working knowledge of CI tools. We use CI with Jenkins and code quality analysis.
- Working with Agile-like development methodologies (KANBAN, SCRUM).
Plus- Mongo or others NoSQL databases.
- Stress and performance testing, black box, white box and usability testing in client‐server, web and database environments.
- Version control system (git, mercurial, svn).
- Fluent in English, we work in an international environment.
