The team
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to accelerate the development of our NFT Marketplace. In this role, you will be joining a cross-functional team solely focused on pushing the boundaries of the space and offering a world class user experience. Your core responsibility will be building and maintaining user interfaces, leveraging React, as the team delivers novel features to production, as well as maintaining the engineering health of the application. An acute eye for detail and advocating for elite level user experience is a must. Your expertise in building scalable and high-performance applications will directly contribute to the success of our platform.
The opportunity
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications specifically tailored for NFT trading and interactions
Execute within a cross-functional team, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, to ensure seamless integration of NFT features and functionalities
Contribute to the architecture and design of the NFT marketplace, focusing on scalability, performance, and user experience
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the web application
Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation for the NFT platform
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the blockchain and NFT space, integrating these insights into our platform
Skills you should HODL
5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications
Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with React
Experience with Next.js, RESTful APIs, and WebSockets, particularly in a blockchain or NFT context
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling
Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles, especially in the context of NFTs and digital assets
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to haves
Direct experience with blockchain technology and NFT platforms
Familiarity with smart contract development and integration
Familiarity with Web3 libs and wallet integrations
E-commerce and related SEO experience
Knowledge of image compression, caching and loading strategies
