Have you ever booked a hotel online? Then you’ve probably used D-EDGE without knowing it.

Every day, we help more than 12,000 hotels worldwide to develop their online visibility and sales through a range of SaaS and digital marketing solutions.

Amongst the 350 D-EDGERs, the R&D team is made up of a hundred or so enthusiasts who are reinventing hotel booking for both the traveller and the hotelier.

As a subsidiary of the Accor group, D-EDGE simplifies the life of independent hotels and hotel chains alike.

Job Description

Our goal is to design and develop the best possible products. Our R&D (100 people based in Barcelona, Paris, Bordeaux and Nantes) has developed a culture in which agility and teamwork are at the service of innovation and excellence.

We continue to maintain a “startup” spirit with SCRUM teams (3 to 8 people) autonomous and with great freedom of innovation and experimentation. We are at the heart of an ecosystem of several partner crates with which we develop and maintain connectivity via API.

Our technical environment is very rich: distributed architecture of Web Services and Application Services on Service Bus, high performance, reliability and security constraints: you will need autonomy, initiative and adaptability.

YOUR MISSIONS :

  • You will be working as part of a highly motivated and growing SCRUM development team (4 people). You will work on various products dedicated to improve a hotel owner’s daily life by providing him with intelligent data of his activity and his competitors’ activities
  • You will be working in a big data cloud-based environment on various structural algorithms.
  • You will be a key element in building next generation software that will raise our products beyond our competitors’.
  • What’s more is that you will be living in one of the best cities in the world: Barcelona. Sunshine, beach and mountain all at your doorstep!

  • You will work on all stages of development :

  • Study of developments with the Product Owner

  • Technical and architectural choices and drafting of specifications with the team

  • Development, quality assurance and deployment

  • Monitoring of production indicators, fine-tuning and anticipating new developments

Preferred Experience

We are looking for engineers who are passionate about the development of SaaS platforms in micro-services environments, who want to develop new and ambitious features as well as experiment with us on the most advanced technical solutions, to work on all stages of the product's life (from design to maintenance) and who like to share their passion and knowledge.

  • Fluent English required (French is a plus)
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with Product, QA, IT Ops, Customer Service
  • Practiced some agile methodologies (SCRUM / Kanban)
  • Ability to analyze and build software architectures while focusing on reliability, security and performance
  • Involvement in going all the way when solving technical problems: quality and reliability are part of your work
  • You are autonomous, you take initiative and you are willing / able to learn new languages, technologies and work methodologies
  • Experience of working in a SAAS environment and managing production
  • Strong developer experience;
  • Knowledge of .NET/C# environment
  • Some frontend development knowledge (preferably with React)
  • Knowledge of cloud services (DevOps skills on Microsoft Azure or/and AWS)
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture is a strong plus
