About the position
You are a highly motivated Senior SEO who is excited about the opportunity of driving business impact through user acquisition on sites with more than 100M users per month - Softonic.com, filehippo.com, downloads.digitaltrends or download.com. You are highly analytical, and also entrepreneurial by nature. You make decisions based on your expertise and the data available.
As a Senior SEO, your mission will be to define and implement our SEO strategy as well as guiding the team to achieve the best results. Collaborating closely with our marketing, engineering, and content teams, you will spearhead initiatives that boost our organic traffic and engagement, playing a pivotal role in expanding our user base and solidifying our market position.

REQUIREMENTS
We are searching for a results-driven Senior SEO who can excel within the following set of responsibilities:
Key responsibilities
Coordinate SEO strategies across all Softonic properties.
- Play the role of SEO evangelist within Softonic, ensuring that SEO know how spreads correctly across the organization and ensuring also that strategic decisions take in consideration potential SEO impact
- Communicate to the broader company SEO-related actions and strategies.
- Lead and analyze execution of SEO-driven short term and long term initiatives.
- Define requirements and tasks required to maintain and improve SEO visibility and SEO traffic.
- Ensure that Softonic always implements the right technologies to ensure crawlability and SEO visibility.
- Coordination with Product team to shape existing & new products in line with SEO latest requirements and KPIs.
- Collaboration with others to drive SEO traffic stability/increase across multi-team initiatives.
- Undertake competitor, sector and market analysis, using specific SEO-related analysis tools when needed. Stay up to date in tech trends with impact in SEO activity (browsers, search Companies innovations, etc.).
- Lead the SEO traffic analysis, being able to understand and report existing situation for all projects and to forecast future trends
- Identify and ideally develop automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and scale SEO processes efficiently
Minimum experience and qualifications
5+ years of specific experience in SEO for high-traffic sites (either in-house or agency). - Advanced experience in technical SEO optimization
- Web analytics: advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, KPI’s definition and reporting.
- Data visualization & analysis skills
- Objectives oriented and self-starter.
- Specific knowledge of the Software & Apps industry.
- Coding skills regarding JS & SQL are a must
- Relevant University degree.
