The
demands on our systems are growing fast. We're looking for system
administrators keen on devops best practices to keep on top of our
services demands and ensure all our services are running smoothly.
Some of the key components of our tech stack that you'd be working with:
- Ansible
- Barebone and virtual servers running Ubuntu
- Ruby on Rails, with phusion passenger
- Golang for real-time services
- Nginx
- CouchDB (hosted with Cloudant)
- Redis
- RethinkDB (hosted)
- ElasticSearch (hosted)
- RabbitMQ (hosted)
- ZeroMQ
- Websockets
Cabify
is under considerable growth at the moment as we expand into more
countries in Latin America. Our devops team will have to be able to
provide 24 hour support and work alongside developers to determine how
we can continue to scale.
Requirements
- At least 10 years experience with Linux systems.
- Extremely comfortable using provisioning systems like Ansible.
- Experience in dealing with High Availability.
- Has a passion for monitoring the crap out of everything.
- Emotional stability to be able to deal with angry "everybody" if things go wrong.
- Sense of humour.
