As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Parser, you'll be instrumental in scaling our DevOps team to new heights. You'll lead the charge in migrating on premise services to the cloud, designing robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring the stability and performance of our applications. Collaborating closely with our development teams, you'll integrate DevOps best practices seamlessly into their workflow, driving efficiency and innovation across the organisation.

    Technology stack:

     

    • AWS
    • Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS
    • Workflow engines (including Dagster and Airflow)
    • Python, REST API (desired)

     

    What you'll bring to us:

     

    • 8+ years of experience in DevOpsProven track record and bast experience in the cloud.
    • Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS, microservice architecture and ArgoCD / GithubCD.
    • Expertise building data pipelines in the cloud, preferably AWS, including storing and retrieving data in S3.
    • AWS solutions include Aurora/PSQL database setup and administration, general understanding of AWS components and the serverless pattern.
    • Expertise developing, maintaining, and operating critical production level ETLs using workflow engines (including Dagster and Airflow).
    • Expertise in monitoring and alerting.
    • Understanding of optimisation techniques (linear and integer programming, metaheuristics).
    • Ability to translate product requirements into proposed technical solutions.
    • Independent work ownership & delivery of relevant tasks.
    • Communicative, visible & collaborative (cross-technical teams & wider), including providing clear updates and mentoring peers.
    • Understanding of wider product development, impact of engineering tasks on progress, and interdependencies across the team.
    • Articulating technical complexities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Focus on clear, effective documentation of technical work.
    • Ability to deliver and own quality outputs under time pressure.
    • Results-orientation, with motivation for the success of the entire team and project versus one’s individual tasks.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
