About the role
This is a very unique and critical role.
As a Scrum Master, you will help one of Whisbi’s most specialized engineering squads perform their duties efficiently and in an organized manner. Your main role will be to help us keep the whole department running like clockwork and support the scrum process in our core and strongest squad.
You will be in charge of operating the internal tooling, documentation and admin spaces of the engineering side of the company including assisting on some scrum meetings such as daily standups or retrospectives.

At Whisbi, the Engineering and product teams work together to maintain, develop, update and innovate the Whisbi suite. We mostly work with Node.js, Angular, C++, and our architecture is built with microservices for stability and scalability.
You'll be joining a growing team with roles including product design, engineering, DevOps, business intelligence, product owners from all over the world, and from a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences.
How will you work:
You will be part of some scrum/department meetings and will be in charge of keeping all the tooling and admin spaces up to date and organized. Part of your duties will be to coordinate with engineers and product owners on updating and creating documentations, managing the boards, managing some operational tools, and keeping them up to date. Besides, helping with some scrum duties like moderating meetings if / when necessary.
Who do we need for this role?
We need someone who is smart, analytical and self-motivated. Someone that can hit the ground running and enjoys organizing meeting. A geek who is passionate about organizing and optimizing everything and excels at documenting and presenting both technical and non-technical content. You also need to be passionate about Tech.
Qualification (Must have)
- Excellent demonstrable analytical skills is a must
- A background in the IT industry and/or a degree in a scientific or informatics discipline
- Good knowledge of agile and at least one year working with scrum.
- Organizational skills and a strong grasp of basic technical concepts such as APIs, Databases, Backend vs Frontend, Flow Charts, TDD..etc
- Experience in writing technical documentation and moderating tools such as JIRA, FreshDesk or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. Spanish is a plus
Nice to have:
- Scrum Master experience
- Other roles in IT is a plus
- Experience with the Atlassian stack. (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket...etc)
- Experience with Sonar or similar tools.
