We are currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our RatedPower team working in Madrid or remote. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist and collaborate with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely within the Front and Backend Development Teams.
- Help test the application through both manual and automated means by following the testing pyramid.
- Contribute to improving and applying QA best practices, provide specific guidance to developers.
- Help maintain documentation.
- Report and assist in triage of issues related to the product.
- Understand the business and use this understanding to influence their task prioritisation.
What you should have:
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience of working in an agile software development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Familiar with any of the following programming languages: Java, Javascript.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing: unit, integration, end-to-end.
- Experience in automation tools such as Cypress.
- Comfortable with version control systems.
Valuable skills:
- Experience of software development.
- Continuous integration and issue tracking tools such JIRA.
- Knowledge of Civil or Electrical Engineering.
