This is our Product Owner role for those who know how to build a successful product development strategy, appreciate communication with users, and are ready to conquer the international market together with the team.
Tasks in the role
Work within the team of Data Science specialists.
Understand the data needs of Semrush users.
Manage requirements for the services and models developed by the team.
Collaborate with other Product Owners on projects involving multiple teams.
Plan team projects based on the quarterly/yearly cycle.
Manage team priorities within the quarter cycle.
Proactively investigate and promote new possibilities of applying DS/ML expertise to the department’s products.
Prioritize, groom and decompose tasks together with the team.
Report to Head of Data.
Who we are looking for
Experienced Product Owner/Product Manager with experience in DS/ML focused projects.
Ability to make data-based decisions.
Ability to prioritize tasks based on value to the company.
Ability to empathize and find common ground.
Understanding of scrum, agile, and the role of product owner.
English Upper Intermediate or higher.

Experience working in a team of data scientists/data analysts.
Knowledge of mathematical statistics and modern data analysis methods.
Experience with Large Language Models.

A bit about the team
Other product teams rely on our team when expertise in data models or large language models is needed. We create internal services using machine learning, which other teams use to implement new products. The team consists of a Product Owner, a Technical Owner, four Data Scientists, and two MLOps Engineers.
