Loyal Guru, a thriving Barcelona-based company established in 2016, is on a mission to revolutionize the interaction between supermarkets, retailers, and their customers. By harnessing the power of consumer data, analytics, and personalized omni-channel offers, we aim to enhance consumer-retailer relationships and boost sales.
As an intern mobile application developer at Loyal Guru, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining the front end of our white-label app built with Ionic. Working closely with a cross-functional squad comprising two app developers, a product owner, and a QA specialist, you'll be immersed in a collaborative atmosphere where your contributions matter.
Here's a glimpse into your daily responsibilities:
- Participate in the development process of Loyal Guru's app, from gathering client requirements to app release, ensuring code quality, and implementing tests.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the product and its features.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product owners to bring new features to life.
- Gain experience in modern front-end frameworks, particularly in building and upgrading hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Angular.
- Engage in programming and interaction with APIs.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL and Git is required
- Familiarity with unit testing using Jasmine & Karma, with Jest being an advantage.
- Enthusiasm for Agile teamwork, including daily stand-ups, project planning, and demos.
- Knowledge of ionic, monorepo, capacitor, firebase is a bonus.
- Exhibit self-drive and ownership in solving challenging problems.
- Previous experience in startup environments is a plus.
