Taxfix we want to make taxes easier. We believe that everybody,
regardless of their income or tax know-how, deserves to get the maximum
out of their tax returns. We have a vision that by using Taxfix,
everyone will be able to submit their taxes from their mobile phone in a
matter of minutes.
As a JavaScript UI Developer at Taxfix you’ll
work in a multidisciplinary product team to build elegant user
interfaces using React for our iOS, Android and future web apps. We use
modern JavaScript across our stack, from our node.js API to our React
Native view layer and React-based internal tools.
- Collaborate closely in a multi-disciplinary team to define and ship the look and feel across our apps
- Make the product visually appealing, easy and enjoyable to use
- Implement custom UI components for our conversational interface
- Integrate both our own and third-party APIs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing front-end applications
- Outstanding knowledge of modern JavaScript including ES6
- Experience using one of React, React Native or a React-like view layer
- Experience with Browserify/Webpack, Git, GitHub and TDD
- Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing and deployment
- Ability to make pragmatic decisions in response to time and resource constraints Full-time position
- Permanently based in Berlin or willing to move
- EU passport holder or other permit to work in the EU
