The goal of our Information Systems Manager is to ensure that
Learnlight has the systems and tools required to maximize the
productivity and efficiency of the team. This responsibility covers
enterprise systems (e.g. CRM, Finance, HR, SharePoint etc.), policies
and security (i.e. ISO 27001, GDPR etc), and hardware infrastructure
(e.g. laptops, networking, printers, telecoms, etc.)
Responsibilities & Tasks
Systems
- Assess business needs and evaluate new systems
- Configure and implement new systems, directing and coordinating the work of representatives from both IT and the business
- Oversee and determine timeframes for major projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Contribute to organizational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning
Security
- Manage On and off-boarding users accounts
- Secure data from internal and external attacks

Develop and maintain IT policies to ensure, among other things, that
users adhere to software licensing laws and GDPR privacy standards
- Manage crisis situations, which may involve complex software issues or hardware problems
Infrastructure
- Work with leadership to create and implement an architecture that supports the business
- Oversee and manage the purchase of hardware and software
- Schedule upgrades and fixes where appropriate
- Plan, develop and implement the IT budget and obtain competitive prices from suppliers and improve efficiencies over time
- Conduct regular system audits
Management
- Recruit, train and manage IT support staff
- Ensure internal users receive adequate and efficient support and advice
- Develop best practice guides for the organisation
- Develop and deliver ongoing technical training to internal users
- Produce regular system reports for leadership
- Monitor and manage the work of third-party providers
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an IT manager or other relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
- Excellent knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of system security
- Strong communication skills
