We are looking for a mid-level jack-of-all-trade web developer who is flexible to work in any position in the web/app development. Anything from back end, front end to a bit of UX/UI.

WHAT DO WE DO?
Large structures are hard to build, but even harder to monitor, inspect and maintain. At TRIK, we believe that drones are the future of structural inspection. We want to enable everyone to be able to utilise drones in the easiest way possible.
TRIK is a drone software start-up that has been established for 3 years and we are now entering a growth stage. We turn drone photos into digital 3D models and enable customers to make comments in 3D. You can use the 3D models as a file directory to store data, compare changes or add measurements. We’ve won several awards for our innovative business solutions and are funded by top-tier investors like the UK government and the Founder of Zoopla. We’re ambitious to do more and to add to our product pipeline as well as the solutions we offer our clients.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a mid-level (>4 years exp.) web developer who have a good general knowledge in multiple area and love to learn about new technology. Someone with a high problem solving skill. You should be able to prototype quickly, adapt swiftly to code challenges, be able to work as part of a team, have strong communication skills and be creative and pragmatic in your approach. This is the stack that we are working with. You should have experience in working with most of the list below or willing to learn the rest as part of the job.
• REST API’s (development and integration)
• Databases: NoSQL & SQL experience, and/or MongoDB
• React.js (or similar front end library & willingness to learn React)
• Responsive HTML/CSS
• Command Line Interfaces / Linux
Nice to have
• Cloud Deployment (Azure/AWS/Google)
• 3D web (webGL, three.js, cesium.js)
• React Native
A huge bonus if you have an experience in map (any GIS degree, work experience), drones (either as a drone operators or worked for a drone software), computer vision (C++, parallel computing, sfm), app development, unity.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
You will be working with our product lead, designer, full stack developer, and drone/computer vision team. Your work will vary depend on the current challenge, from building and maintaining back end to working on UX/UI and front end development of new features.
You don’t need to be able to do a detailed UI, most of our work will be using existing template / UI kits or working with a designer.
We’re a small team so you will be an integral part of the development team, creating and iterating our code base. We’ll be looking to you to help us continue to innovate and grow our products, which in future will include automated real-time 3D mapping and software for controlling drones.
