The position

We are looking for Engineering Managers who could help grow our engineering talent and build an inclusive and high-performing team—building or filling teams with the people and skills to achieve their roadmap.

Your primary responsability would focus on create a strong technical solution and help the engineers to reach the next level

Technology Owner

    • Align the team with the company tech vision
    • Owner with the support of the Tech Lead and the team to translate between realms (business <-> technical) and on high-level architectural decisions
    • Owner with the support of the Tech Lead and the team to own technical KPIs such as SLAs, Metrics, and Monitoring
    • Owner with the support of the Tech Lead and the team to identify technical risks and production issues, contingency plans and postmortem happen and mitigation actions are taken
    • Owner with the support of the Tech Lead for the Technical Roadmap definition and execution
    • Ensure there is a culture of useful code reviews and feedback within the team to ensure highly maintainable, reliable and maintainable products
    • Ensure features go live with the best quality (automated tests, reduction of bugs, reduction of support requests) and the team owns and lives this goal

People Management

    • Communication: align the team members with company goals and vision. Ensure cascading Communications in a clear and trustable way
    • Hiring: contribute and track the hiring plans, processes and pipelines. Actively participate in interviews and decisions on hiring-related subjects
    • Team Growth: including 1-1s, Performance reviews, Salary Reviews, Support, Career Plans and Coaching/Mentoring
    • Team Healthiness & Engagement Dynamics: Team Health end engagement Check, Team building activities and culture and look for a Team safety environment
    • Ensure there is proper onboarding for the new hires

Delivery Management

    • Accountable and responsible for team delivery and performance reports like bi-weekly updates and QBRs
    • Keep track of every development task in progress, ensuring the work continuously flows (e.g. identify and help manage blockers, host periodic meetings…)
    • Help improve the team processes to increase delivery rates and predictability
    • Define and be responsible for the framework for developing, delivering, and sustaining the team's projects and services.
    • Ensure the translation of the team's roadmap into actionable tasks is done effectively
    • Unblock and clear roadblocks

Engineering Representative

    • Work with other EMs to define cross-team and organizational processes
    • Align with other EMs to help coordinate between PMs and TLs
    • Join forces with Tech Lead, PD, and PM to ensure a high standard of product quality
