Engineer in Test in Barcelona

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a highly motivated Engineer in Test to join the Quality Assurance team that will have hands-on responsibilities for manual and automation testing on The Knot. This is a very collaborative role tasked with ensuring the highest quality marketplace products for our users, while pairing with product, design, and engineering counterparts on a global Agile team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manually test new features and bug fixes before incorporating them into automated test suites.
• Help ensure features are high-quality by building test strategies, writing and executing test plans, and communicating with the team about issues, risk, and product quality.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the QA process by participating in all agile ceremonies with the team.
• Partner with other QA engineers to promote best practices surrounding testing, continuous integration, code standards, etc.
• Leverage skills and experience to develop automated tests to ensure product quality.
   

SUCCESSFUL MOBILE ENGINEERS IN TEST HAVE:

• Working knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• 2-4 years of experience testing customer facing software products throughout the ideation, development, launch, and post launch phases.
• Experience using common bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRails, XRay, or similar.  
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with Cypress automation or comparable framework
• Experience collaborating teams and projects in an Agile, TDD environment.
