DevOps Technical Lead in Barcelona

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our dynamic team and help shape the technical direction of our product(s). As a Technical Lead, reporting to the our Cloud Engineering Manager, you will maintain a high technical bar, driving excellence, and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration within your squad.

Responsibilities:

• Set and uphold the team's technical standards, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality guidelines.
• Define and promote the architecture and overall technical design of our product(s), aligning them with our goals and requirements.
• Lead by example, embodying our team values of vision, ownership, and accountability.
• Collaborate with other Technical Leads to discuss technical issues and make informed decisions.
• Resolve complex technical challenges and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Be a necessary liaison between the development team and partners, technical concepts and decisions.
• Mentor team members, promoting their professional development.
• Foster a culture of proactivity, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Partner with Product Owners to prioritize technical debt and feature delivery, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
• Contribute to software development tasks alongside the team members.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in software development.
• Technical proficiency across multiple domains with an excellent understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience resolving complex technical issues and make important decisions.
• Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• You have experience as a leader, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and team development.
• Experience with code review processes and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Optional Requirements:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Previous experience mentoring roles.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
