We are currently looking for a Data Analyst who wants to join our team. You will be the data expert at Novicap, providing data and insight to the Leadership, Management and other business teams, analysing complex problems through the lens of data, and providing vital information for decision-making and monitoring of our company's growth.

What will you do?
As said, your mission will be to provide data and insight to the Leadership, Management and other business teams, analysing complex problems through the lens of data, and providing vital information for decision-making and monitoring of our company's growth.
The Novicap Data Analyst will be a key member of the Strategy Team, and will work across the business to:
Identify data needs and develop our data assets and data architecture
Research and create models to analyse our activities
Understand our business challenges and solve them creatively through data analysis
Understand the behaviour of our clients through data, and transmit that knowledge throughout the business
Support the optimisation of business processes through data insight and reporting
In doing so, you will contribute to the achievement of Novicap’s long-term growth plans 🚀

Who will you be working with?
You will report directly to the Head of Product. You will also work closely with the rest of colleagues across Madrid, Barcelona and the rest of Spain. A young and dynamic team that’s waiting for you with arms open!
You are the right fit if you have:
At least 2 years of experience in commercial data analysis
Educational background in statistics, mathematics, engineering or quantitative financials
Experience in model performance analysis and monitoring
Strong SQL skills
High level of proficiency in at least one framework/language for statistical analysis and modelling (e.g. python, java, R)
Technical skills to transform messy data into usable assets
Experience in working with development teams to deploy models into production
Demonstrable experience of analysing complex problems combining multiple data sets, and driving business outcomes.
Good collaboration skills and ability to communica complex analysis to non-expert audiences
Creativity in problem solving
A common sense approach to analysis and modelling, balancing the need for speed with the quality and validity of outputs. e.g. don't commit to large model building that won't add much value.
Ability to balance work with large and small data sets to produce meaningful outcomes and research and identificate data sets revelant to our business
Fluency in Spanish and English
