Tortoise develops and commercializes technologies in the field of
failure analysis and material characterization which are based on a
patented method that extracts mechanical properties of a fractured
material using a statistical analysis of the topography of its fracture
surface.
Tortoise offers services to the industry and is currently developing
products, including a SaaS platform and a portable and connected
device. The company, who is iLab 2018 Grand-Prize winner, is currently
building a team to support the development of these products and related
business.
In tight collaboration with the CEO and the President (both
co-founders), to whom you report, you manage a young and dynamic team of
mechanical and informatics engineers. You define priorities and take
decisions with regard the use of human and material resources. You are
responsible for the carrying out, within the approved deadlines and
budget, of technology development program, contract enforcement, demos
to industrial prospects and investors, hiring and subcontracting.
You are autonomous, curious, open to innovation, rigorous. You have
an engineering background in mechanical and/or computer science. Your
professional contributions are evidences for your experience in project
management, team management and technology development. Knowledge of
English, written and spoken, is required. Interest in business
development is highly appreciated.
