Resumedia has built various websites under different labels that support job seekers with easy-to-use career tools, particularly focussing on creating a CV. It is a SaaS product that is offered to both B2C throughout Europe (NL, BE, FR, IT and ES) and B2B organisations that help job seekers find new jobs. Over time, we have developed a healthy company that has achieved some impressive results and became a market leader in terms of visitors and brand recognition. Now it is time to take the next step by using all we have learned to develop an entirely new state-of-the-art platform from scratch. It will combine all existing labels into one international website and brand in order to conquer the rest of the world and realise our ambitions.
Your Impact as our new CTO
At the moment, our company consists of a team of remote employees, while the development and management of the current platform have been outsourced to an external party. From our new office in Amsterdam, the team will be expanded further with you as our CTO in a technical leadership role. As the new Resumedia CTO, you will build the foundation for our new platform and choose the ideal tech stack of modern technologies. Based on this information, you will put together an “A-Team” of developers or collaborate with a suitable outsource partner to develop the new platform. It's your job to direct this team like a well-oiled machine, supervise related affairs such as DevOps and - of course - put your own development skills into practice.
The result will be a scalable high-traffic multilingual platform with career tools that will make a real difference for job seekers and which clearly reflect our obsession for technology, speed, security, usability, design and SEO.

Experience in a similar position, if you are a Lead or Senior Developer or Engineer then you could be very well suited to this first role at CTO;
Experience with the development of complex websites/platforms from scratch;
Experience with working in a Scrum/Agile team;
A background in online startups and scaleups is a plus;
Creative, likes to think along and has a feeling for product and design;
Works in a neat and organised manner, so everything stays manageable.
