As an Engineering Lead, you’ll play a dual role: driving engineering excellence across teams and serving as a People Lead, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and purpose. You’ll work closely with Tech Leads, Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to shape our technical strategy, team structure, and engineering culture.
Build and scale high-performing engineering teams through hiring, onboarding, and talent retention.
Promote and establish best practices in Software Engineering (CI/CD, Architecture, Security etc.)
Lead strategic engineering initiatives and foster a strong product engineering culture.
Represent engineering in executive and cross-functional leadership forums.
Monitor team performance, delivery, and satisfaction, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Remove organizational impediments and enable teams to deliver value efficiently.
Facilitate cross-team and cross-location collaboration for knowledge sharing and technical alignment.
You will focus on guiding, supporting, and developing team members so they can perform and grow, rather than managing tasks or projects
Support team members in connecting their work to broader company and product goals.
Mentor and coach, guiding personal development and fostering ownership.
Lead hiring processes, ensuring strong cultural and technical fit.
Ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding and cultivate a sense of belonging.
Promote psychological safety, open feedback, and strong team spirit.
Conduct fair and transparent performance reviews, development talks, and compensation discussions.
Collaborate with other People Leads to evolve leadership practices and support co-worker satisfaction.
Apply key labor laws and company policies with the support of People Partners.
10+ years of experience in software engineering and advanced technologies.
5+ years of leadership experience, including team leadership and delegation.
Proven ability to lead in dynamic environments such as startups or advisory firms.
Strong understanding of the digital services industries.
Experience building and scaling engineering teams and organizations.
Deep knowledge of cloud-native development (preferably AWS), DevOps, and modern software architecture.
Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others.
Excellent communication skills in English.
