As a Basketball Data Science Intern, you will work with our software developers to build and implement algorithms to generate various basketball related metrics. This will include advanced as well as more standard analytics.
You will also assist the engineering team in the data identification and capture process.
Working with the marketing and sales team, you will ensure that the generated analytics meet the customer needs and that the data being generated is accurate and time.

What We're Building

Pivot Analysis products enable the cataloguing of basketball actions, syncing of that data with video, and aggregating those actions to generate metrics. These steps will enable the following:
-Video-validated team and player scouting and analytics
-Player value evaluation and justification
-Single player analysis and scouting
-Statistical and visual player comparisons
-Streamlined highlight clip generation
