ZINIO is looking for a Data Analyst intern at their Barcelona Office.
Our Data & Analytics Team has a big challenge and we need your help on:
- Building new reporting solutions: creating reports in Looker, modeling lookers LookML SQL layer, administering Looker’s environment and authorization model.
- Modeling the DaaS (data as a service) portal, adding the content for the different tiers, managing access and improving the look and feel.
- Implementing new ETL flows in pyspark (databricks).
- Investigating backend issues using databricks notebooks to run SQL queries.
- Managing AWS DMS service.
- Automating the existing file upload process of finance data.
- Automating the creation of new marketing feeds.
- Sharing your ideas and defend them within the team and help us deliver better data products.
Things we expect you to be ready to use from day one:
- SQL and Python.
- Data architecture and design concepts.
- Great working spirit and willingness to embrace new challenges.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- English working proficiency.
Things you will acquire over time working with us:
- Exposure to Spark.
- Experience in the AWS ecosystem.
- Knowledge general big data concepts.
- Awareness of CDC and streaming concepts and its implementation paradigms.
- General knowledge of the Data and Analytics tools and ecosystem.
