We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Simon IT
team. This team will drive Simon to a full CI/CD culture and streamline
an automated development process. The team helps build, develop and
maintain our cloud platform at Simon.
Responsibilities
-Identify sources of manual work related to onboarding new projects from
inception to CI/CD pipeline and strive to automate as much as possible.
-Reduce the time it takes to build, deploy, and configure software to all environments.
-Work closely with development teams to deliver Cloud enabled solutions
-Be responsible for small to large sized projects and provide coding,
automation, task-tracking, process execution and metrics for Cloud and
other supported technologies
-Build and deliver reusable foundational frameworks to implement
infrastructure as code in the Cloud and drive adoption of the frameworks
to enable the development teams
-Joint owner of build and release tools and processes.
-Contribute to the feature development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipeline.
-Have a mindset of “As a Service”, self-service for our engineers is key!
-Maintain high quality by participating in code reviews.
-Provide expert input to business and IT for existing and future
solutions in Simon Cloud Platform technologies to improve cost, quality
and performance
-Collaborate with our Data team to maintain and improve our Analytics platform.
Requisitos:
-Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field
-3+ years Devops/Software Engineering experience
-3+ years of experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson, TeamCity, GoCD, CircleCI
-2+ years of experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
-2+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform technologies
-2+ years of Python scripting.
-2+ years of experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
-2+ years of Groovy/Jenkinsfile development experience
-Strong knowledge in Git
