Playing our part between the Quik Video Backend and the UI, we are
tinkering users' media behind the curtain with powerful tools to
automatically create them into beautiful stories. Being part of the
Creative team means you will be able to drive the video editing and
effect creation part of the GoPro apps and cameras towards new
directions for the users' pleasure.
What You Will Do
- Editing engine: improving our music-to-story synchronization
algorithm, and overall storytelling experience, with the help of our
kick-ass computer scientists;
- Graphics engine: creating and pushing into production new visual
effects, colorimetric filters, etc. in collaboration with UX and motion
designers;
- Product: explore and prototype new storytelling possibilities using GoPro hardware from the future.
Skills We're Stoked About
- Passion for video editing and/or motion design;
- Proficiency in Python;
- Experience with GLSL or another shading language;
- Experience with creative coding frameworks (Cinder, Processing, Nodebox, Quartz Composer, etc...);
- Eager to participate in large software projects, even if you have no experience in it.
