We
are recruiting a Wordpress developer to join our team. You will be in
charge of creating beautiful, usable, side-products for the marketing
purposes of Mention. You will also be in charge of the main Mention.com
website.
You will be the one that is missing to our team, you will make the calls on every single pixel that you code and maintain.
MISSIONS
- Develop new landing pages, micro-sites and other side-projects using W3C standards
- Participate in the marketing meetings to suggest and improve ideas about lead generation
- Maintain, improve and update the main Mention.com website and the blog
- Work with developers and marketers to brainstorm and test new ideas
- Bring pixels to life with dry and maintainable CSS/JS
- Maintain high product quality and a passion for perfection
- Use, update and maintain data collection scripts on those products
- Technical optimizations specific to SEO
Requirements
- Preference for working in rapid development cycles (2-4 weeks)
- Creative thinker and strong implementation ability
- You are curious, a critical thinker by design with a positive attitude and a great sense of humor
- Strong background as front-end developer
- Wordpress experience and PHP basic knowledge
- Experience designing and deploying applications/websites/projects with Javascript/CSS(SCSS)
- Familiarity with common tools like Git and experience with Continuous Integration (Gulp...)
- Staying up to date with latest products and technologies (Hacker News, ProductHunt, TechCrunch…)
- Your are fluent or have strong working proficiency in English
- Be familiar with growth / marketing thought is a big plus (SEO, conversion, data collection…)
- Knowledge on COS Hubspot is a big plus
- Familiarity with Sketch is a plus
