At Lodgify, we are looking for
a talented Web Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. We
are a product-first company with a simple vision: empower lodging
operators to build and grow their business through technology and help
them become independent from large corporate online travel agencies. Our
software enables vacation rental businesses to easily create a bookable
website and manage all their reservations.
We are constantly
working to improve our software and its features. A skilled Quality
Assurance Engineer will be not only a great contribution to that, but
also a key player for the team. You will be the first QA – that means
you will have the chance to see the direct impact of your work on our
product. You will also apply your skills across the software development
lifecycle to contribute to the ongoing success of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Perform effective manual testing to ensure product’s stability and performance
- Lead the prioritization of automatic tests to be added to our automated testing framework
- Lead the workflow of pushing new features into production
- Involve and guide developers to consider testing during the whole lifecycle of a feature
- Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements
Requirements
- Experience in software Quality Assurance test
- Clear understanding of testing methodology
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Clear understanding of Internet concepts (Rest API, Ajax requests, Cookies, Response codes etc)
- Ability to report defects and document clearly
- Ability to speak, write and read technical documentation in English
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge
- Problem-solving and result-driven
- End user empathy and understanding of the business strategy
