Currently we are looking for a Technical
Writer to join our Development team. In this role you will produce
high-quality documentation that supports our software platform and will
compliment & clarify our product. What does this mean?
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
•
Working with our Agile development team, customer support desk and
integration consultants. To obtain an in-depth understanding of the
Paazl software platform and the documentation requirements.
•
Producing high-quality online documentation that is easy to find, easy
to use and easy to understand and that is in line with Paazl’s branding.
• Documenting the Web App, REST and SOAP API’s.
• Providing input for contextual help in graphic user interfaces and for error messages
• Creating video tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
• Analyzing existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing
• Creating and maintaining Paazl’s information architecture and thinking along with process improvements.
YOU ARE:
• Able to think through the needs of the reader to create the right content for that designated target group.
•
Pro-active, hands-on, acts pragmatically, accurately and is focused on
providing the right solution for an optimal result and knows how to
achieve this in practice.
• Strongly analytical, process and concept-driven with critical eye as to usability and UX.
• Structured, able to safeguard and communicate information internally/externally with precision.
• Able to lead people and create support where necessary (socially and contextually aware, result-oriented).
• Able to view technical documentation through the user’s eyes in order to translate feedback to product needs.
WHAT TECHNICAL SKILLS DO YOU BRING?
• Experience in delivering high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
• Experience in quickly grasping complex technical concepts to translate then to understandable text, pictures & video’s.
• Knowledge of preferably Zendesk Guide, HTML, CSS, Madcap Flare, Swagger UI and YAML.
Furthermore you have:
• A university degree
• 3-5 years of experience of proven experience in technical writing & software documentation.
• Native in the English language (both verbally and written).
• Familiarity with the e-commerce industry.
