You're an “extraordinaire” engineer, a damn-good developer, a
creative coder, and there are plenty of opportunities out here to ply
your trade. Homeloop offers two things that are difficult to find: a
chance to build the most exciting and ambitious real estate marketplace
to date, and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects.
At Homeloop, you will lead the dev team and be in charge of all
development efforts within the company. Answering directly to the CEO,
you will work in coordination with the Head of Product and Head of Data.
Your main role will be to build your team - recruit, train, organise
it - and take major architecture decisions. You will start off with a
team of 3: a polyvalent but Python-focused junior tools developer, a
fullstack junior web developer and yourself. This means you will also
heavily contribute to the development, at least until next funding round
in Q1 2018 when you'll be able to recruit massively.
Here are some of the exciting projects you will work on in the first few months :
- Work with our Data Scientists to build the most advanced French
real estate pricing tool, by gathering data from various sources,
implementing the pricing model and making it a complete tool for our
Analysts to use
- Design advanced automated data visualizations and integrate them
in our client web platform, to communicate our Analysts conclusions to
our clients
- Build from scratch Homeloop’s “Vitrine”, the website that will showcase properties Homeloop is selling
- Build marketing technology tools, to fully automate processes traditional real estate agents do manually
- Put together an web-based interface to allow potential buyers to
visit properties we sell 24/7, thanks to an API-enabled smart lock
technology
Your profile / skills:
- Experience in web development
- Experience in Python
- Knowledge of database architecture (SQL & NoSQL)
- Basics in devops (AWS)
- Previous experience in a startup environment is a big plus
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field with demonstrated academic excellence
