Emma is your financial advocate.
Our mission is to empower people to live a better and more fulfilling
financial life. In an age where there are thousands of financial
products, managing and controlling money has become extremely difficult.
We want to put an end to this. We believe money management should be
easy and straightforward. You should be able to access all the
information regarding your personal finance from the push of a button.
We think anyone should have an advocate that is here to help in our
everyday life, no matter who we are and where we come from. For these
reasons, we are building Emma, because we believe we can improve the
financial well being of millions of people.
Emma was founded by engineers, who are extremely focused on coding,
product and data. These are the three pillars on which we want to build a
strong tech culture and fix personal finance once for all.
We have recently received significant VC backing to execute on our vision.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for people who fall under our own definition of
hacker. You need to be a fast learner that is fluent in multiple
languages and is not scared of picking up new challenges on a daily
basis.
We appreciate individuals who will never stop in front of a problem,
because an engineer, by definition, is someone who can fix everything.
We don’t have any specific requirement, in terms of your past
background.
However, we want to see some proof that you are good at building
things and shifting into unknown areas. You might have proved this
through past job experiences, hackathons or personal projects and this
is the time to show off. ;)
Responsibilities
Your focus will be mostly on our backend infrastructure, from scaling
challenges to data processing ones. We have an intense roadmap ahead,
which includes a plethora of new features and integrations, which you
will be part of. If there is the need and you are up for it, you might
find yourself working on some of our frontend.
