Software Engineer en Barcelona

PAL Robotics is a robotics company developing humanoid service robots. Our goal is to develop humanoids that can perform useful tasks in the real world. We are a young and multidisciplinary team of highly motivated engineers, that have successfully developed several prototypes and products.

We are looking for a software engineer with at least 2 years experience developing in C++ and familiar with web technologies.

The selected individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s core development and validation tools and testing software and robotic platforms.

The company is located in Barcelona, Spain.

Start date: September 2016

The compensation package will be evaluated according to the relevant experience of the candidate between 25k€ and 35k€.

Primary duties

• Developing and maintaining company core tools developed in C++ and Python

• Testing and validating software and robot platforms

• Creation of web contents for REEM humanoid robotic platform’s touchscreen

• Code QA through Unit Tests

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

• Excellent C++ programming skills

• Experience with HTML5 and JavaScript, ideally with AngularJS

• Experience developing in Linux OS

• Proactive team working attitude

• Excellent Spoken and Written English

Desired Requirements

• Knowledge of ROS

• Experience with real robotic hardware

• Experience with revision control systems (git)
